How do we work together on the design?

Your house is the reflection of who you are & a collection of what you love. No one else but you needs to define what designs you love the most. The design process has to start with you sending me your ideal home with pictures that you take from websites like Pinterest, Instagram and Houzz. Once you have picked and selected the items that you love, I will then custom source for you these items and if I do not manage to find the exact same one, I will propose alternatives until you are totally satisfied with the look.

HOW MUCH WILL I SAVE BY ORDERING FROM OVERSEAS WITH ZAIKAT?

Depending on the products you will buy, you will manage to save between 30 to 50% of what you would have paid for an equivalent product on island. To give you a couple of examples:

1. We sell Corian bathtubs that cost between 6.000 to 9.000 CI on island for 1.200 to 1.800 CI.The discount here is major but we love those tubs so much that we want you to be able to afford one.

2.We sell a 12 kw solar panel system that has been approved by both BCU and CUC for 15.000 CI. On island, the companies will sell you a 10 kw system for 30.000 CI installed. With the savings you are making, it will not be difficult to find a qualified electrician to install the solar panels on your roof.

The discounts are major for hurricane proof winwows, tiles, cabinets and anything you can think of!Being patient pays off.

how long does it take for the products to arrive on island?

Once we have defined everything you needed for your house, it will take approximately 6 weeks to produce and 6 weeks to ship. Because sometimes there is delay on the production side, with the transportation or because the container needs to be inspected with customs, I prefer to be large and count 4 months, just to be safe.

WHAT ARE THE WARRANTIES GIVEN BY ZAIKAT on the products imported?

On this island, most of the suppliers give little to no warranties on the products they sell because they are losing their warranties when they import the products. We believe at ZAIKAT that if something is wrong, whether the product is damaged or defective, or if one of our suppliers did not follow the dimensions provided to him, then we are liable. We will offer you the choice of either replacing the item or reimburse you with your purchase. We need you to be fully satisfied. In addition, we offer a full warranty on our products, depending on the products, it will range between 1year for furniture to 10 years for solar panels for example.

What are the payment terms?

We will need a 50% deposit to start the production process. Please remember that the factories have no stock and will custom produce everything for you, whether the sofa with the particular fabrics that you selected or the window with its specific dimensions, thus the production time.
Once the products are ready for shipping, we will ask for the second half of the payment.
Our price covers the shipping and duties of the products.
